The short version
Isogonic collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no server to send it to. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier and no third-party SDK that phones home. The app makes no network requests of any kind, not at first launch, not ever. You can put the device in airplane mode permanently and the app is unaffected. This is not a policy we intend to grow into. It is a description of an app that has no networking code in it.
What is stored, and where
Everything you type stays in the app's private storage on your device:
- the last value entered in each calculator field, so you do not retype it;
- your aircraft profiles, including empty weight, empty CG and station loads;
- your appearance and unit preferences;
- the record that you acknowledged the first-run disclaimer, and the date you
confirmed each aircraft profile against your own documents. None of it is transmitted. None of it is readable by other apps. Deleting Isogonic deletes all of it. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your device backup may include the app's data, as it does for every app. That backup is between you and Apple; we have no access to it and no way to request it.
What we receive
Nothing. We do not operate a server that Isogonic talks to. We cannot see your aircraft, your loadings, your flights, your location or your usage, because none of it is ever sent anywhere. If you email support, we receive whatever you choose to put in that email. We use it to answer you and for nothing else, and we do not add you to any list.
Permissions
Isogonic requests no permissions. It does not use location services, the camera, the microphone, contacts, photos, notifications or HealthKit.
Purchases
Isogonic is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. Your payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details, and we receive only the anonymised sales reports Apple provides to every developer.
Children
Isogonic is a flight-planning tool. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because the app has no network access, a change here can only follow a change in the app itself, which would come through a normal App Store update.
